My Story
When I got into mortgages back in 2004, I was thrown into one of the most complex, fast-moving industries in finance. No two loans are exactly alike, no two families have the same situation, and no two closings ever go exactly to plan. I learned that early, and it's shaped how I do things to this day.
Twenty-plus years later, I'm still doing this because I genuinely enjoy it. There's something that doesn't get old about handing someone the keys to a home they weren't sure they could afford. That moment is real, and it's worth every late email, every rate lock conversation, and every phone call at 7 p.m.
Who I Work With
I work with all kinds of buyers and homeowners across Maryland, Virginia, DC, Delaware, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
First-time buyers who don't know where to start. Move-up buyers who need to sell before they can buy. Veterans using their VA benefit for the first time. Self-employed borrowers who've been told "no" somewhere else. Investors building their portfolios. Families refinancing to pull equity or lower their rate.

How I Work
I'm not a call center. I don't hand you off to a processor and disappear. When you work with me, you have my direct line and you'll actually use it.
I'm licensed through Bay Capital Mortgage, which means I have access to wholesale rates and a wide range of loan programs — conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, jumbo, and more. I shop the options that make sense for your situation, not just the ones that are easiest to close.
My job is to take something that feels overwhelming and make it manageable. I'll explain what's happening, why it matters, and what to expect next. No jargon, no runaround.
A Little Background
I grew up in the DC/Maryland area and studied business at Prince George's Community College. Before joining Bay Capital, I built my experience at Millennium Financial Group and Equity Mortgage Group, two environments that pushed me to sharpen my skills across the full spectrum of mortgage lending.
Today I'm based in Annapolis and serve clients across the region from our office at 2553 Housley Road.
